Bio

Samuel is a fourth-year PhD student supported under the NSF Graduate Research Fellowships Program (GRFP) to develop new algorithms and mathematical advancements that provide improved robustness and redundancy for trajectory generation in aerospace applications.

Research Interests

  • Convex Optimization / Convex Approximation Methods
  • Real-Time Trajectory Optimization (Sequential Convex Programming)
  • Perception-In-The-Loop Planning (Active Navigation)
  • Applications:
    • Rocketry: Powered Descent Guidance
    • Aerial Vehicles: Multirotors, eVTOLs
